St Kilda Road - Beautiful Gardens
and The Arts District

St Kilda Road is the arts precinct and where you will find the world's most beautiful parks.

These parks are the Alexandra Gardens, King’s Domain, Queen Victoria Gardens, Shrine Reserve and Fawkner Park. Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens which are one of the world’s best are here to be admired as well.

In the parks you will find the greenest gardens with flowers of the most beautiful bloom. The colours are magical from the deepest violets and reds to vibrant yellows and orange.

Flower Clock in the Queen Victoria Gardens

In the Queen Victoria Gardens you will find the beautiful flower clock. The clock face changes on a regular basis which such lovely creations.

Close by is the Sidney Myer Music Bowl which is an outdoor venue with its roof shaped as half a shell. It is another magical place to be on Christmas Eve when we have our Carols by Candlelight. A perfect reason to spend a Christmas with us that will live in your memory forever.

The Shrine of Remembrance can be visited here which is our memorial for those killed in war.

NGV - National Gallery of Victoria

If you love art you can't go past our world famous art gallery.

The water wall as you enter is always lovely to touch and don't forget to throw a coin in the fountain. Your wish just may come true. It is Melbourne after all!

If you prefer musical productions why not stop by the Arts Centre with its magical spire that changes colour at night.

The centre includes Hamer Hall (formerly known as the Melbourne Concert Hall) where they have symphony concerts or the State Theatre which has opera, dance, ballet and dramatic plays.

The Victorian College of the Arts is here as well. It really is a fitting area for the arts community.

Once you fall in love with Melbourne then you can move into one of the cities most luxurious apartments which are along this road, right next door to one of our most prestigious schools, Melbourne Grammar.

Two of the most luxurious buildings include Yve and the lavish Royal Domain Tower.

If you choose to move into Yve you will find one of your neighbours is tennis champion Lleyton Hewitt. In 2004 he paid a record amount of $8.325 million dollars for two apartments that he made into a two-level penthouse.
