South Yarra...Where luxury begins and ends.

South Yarra is the suburb where many of the wealthy people in Melbourne reside.

Toorak is the suburb next to it which is where the richest people in Melbourne reside and has the most expensive houses in Melbourne.

Being one of our beautiful areas it of course attracts the beautiful, fashion conscious people. And where beauty is celebrities are.

When they come to town you will always find them shopping here, eating here and being chased by paparazzi here.

The best of the best is here including some of the best restaurants, top designer stores and most expensive and exquisite homes in all of Victoria.

The best and most popular restaurants and cafes include France Soir, Botanical, Fellini, Greek Deli, Caffe e Cucina, Chapelli's (never closes!) and my favourite Caffe Sienna.

Where to shop first?

Clothing stores from top Australian designers include Collette Dinigan who has dressed many Oscar stars, Bettina Liano, Allanah Hill, Scanlan and Theodore and Wayne Cooper.

Men's clothing stores include Saba, Satch, Christopher Chronis, Arthur Galan and P.o BOX and Batsanis for men's shoes. For men's hire everyone goes to Tony Barlow.

Top hair stylists include stylists to the stars Toni and Guy, Shibui, Conrad Mace and Peter Sango Hair Salon.

If you love sweets like myself don't go past Laurent Patisserie. I love anything French. They have my favourite which are macaroons. I love the pistachio and strawberry. They melt in your mouth. YUM, YUM, YUM!!! They are at The Como Centre.

French Fantasies which is along Toorak Road has some serious petite desserts.

As for real estate the beautiful houses start from around $1 million and can go up to $10 million. In these houses you can find:
