For designer shoes Melbourne | |||
The shoes Melbourne has will really make you fall in love with this city. Giorgio Armani, Manolo Blahnik, Dolce and Gabbana and Jimmy Choo are some of the labels available here.
There are some fantastic and very exciting stores in this city that really will make you scream with delight.
My sister calls me Imelda Marcos. I assure you I don't have that many pairs of shoes but many I do have and I certainly know where to buy them.
Here are the best...
The top two department stores we have in Melbourne are Myer and David Jones. Both the shoe departments are delicious with all the top name designers and some not available anywhere else.
Tucked safely inside 161 Collins Street is Luisa. For some reason there are two stores. One
just after you enter the building through the revolving circular door and
the other one at the back of the building. Both are gorgeous. Here you
will find shoes by Gucci, Prada, Christian Dior, Versus and Emanuel
Ungaro.

The superstore that has the super star names is Miss Louise. This is a gorgeous store next to The Westin hotel in Collins St. Designers include Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana, Chloe, Jimmy Choo, Valentino, Balenciaga, Sergio Rossi, Bottega Veneta and Tod's.
High end shoe retailer Peter Sheppard actually spent over $1 million fitting out his new store in Collins St in the former National Australia Bank. I love the massive crystal ball chandeliers inside the store.
Wittner is a chain store that started in Melbourne in 1913 by H.J. Wittner. The store which is pictured on the previous page is on Collins Street. It's just at the entrance of the Block Arcade and is one of my favourite stores. The staff are lovely and the shoes are beautiful.
The next store took its name from its founding address at 9 West, 57th Street in New York City. The aim of Nine West is to bring the looks off the catwalk
and onto the side walk where real life fashion lives.

Inside Melbourne Central is Steve Madden. This label is aimed at a younger market with very sexy, cutting edge designs. I love the location and the store.
Midas certainly does have the Midas touch with their sexy European flavoured shoes. I love some of the shoe names such as Glitz, Cheeky and Glamour. They are also inside Melbourne Central.
Towards the top end of Collins street known as the Paris end of town is the divine Alberto Piazza. They carry designs by Giorgio Armani, Givenchy, Pucci, Sergio Rossi and Stella McCartney.
Shoes with an opulent mix of fabrics and textures is what you will find at Mollini, such as plaited leather, crackle gold finish, sequins, wood, pony skin and cut outs.
Definitely the place to keep the fashionista
happy. The store is located inside Collinstwo3four towards the back.
In South Yarra there is a killer shoe store
called Loula. They have all the top designer labels
including Dolce and Gabbana, Manolo Blahnik and Azzedine Alaia. You will
find this store at 149 Toorak Rd, South Yarra.
