Crown Towers has everything you could want and more.The best thing about this decadent hotel is the location. The Crown Complex which surrounds it has everything you could possible need and the best that Melbourne has to offer. No need for maps or taxis as everything is within walking distance. That is one thing I hate about travelling. Getting lost! Never fear it won't happen to you here! Surrounding the hotel in the complex are some of Melbourne's best restaurants, bars and one very famous casino. Crown Casino. You will also find some of the worlds best designer labels including Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Prada and Versace. Village Cinema is there for movie lovers, the bowling alley for some fun, Odeon night club for the party animals, the casino for gamblers and the Palladium and The Palms at Crown for live entertainment. I actually saw Whitney Houston perform live at the Palladium and it was amazing. Lucky for me as she cancelled her second show apparently from too much partying! Looking around everything is glass, marble and crystal. You are surrounded by warm colours and lavish luxury.

I found the check-in staff to be very friendly which is always important. The staff make the hotel. The accommodation is the icing on the cake. The best part of the hotel for me is of course the spa. Crown Spa is quite an experience. I love lavish decadence and the spa provides. It is a massive spa that is like a labyrinth. So many corridors where do they all go? It is wonderful spoiling yourself with such luxury though. Again the staff are just so lovely and really friendly. My therapist was Sally who was a lovely chatty lady. I had the most amazing massage and facial. Looking out your bedroom window you get a magnificent view of Southbank.
Crown's Ball of Flames are Astonishing Every night from 9pm and hourly after that until midnight you will see the fire works pictured above. This is where fire balls shoot up into the air from elegant pillars which have water cascading down their sides. (Photo by Maurice Guerrieri) The noise of the flames when they shoot up from the pillars is like a jet fighter taking off. I have seen them so many times yet they are still astonishing and get my attention every time. There is so much more to see and explore here that you will just have to come and see it for yourself.
